Brick slips are typically around 12-28mm thick and are designed to replicate the appearance of traditional full-sized bricks. The slips are manufactured using a variety of materials, usually clay and are available in different sizes, colours, and textures to suit various design preferences.
How are brick slip tiles made?
Brick slips are cut from real clay fired bricks using a mechanically saw. Each brick produces two brick slips to minimse waste.
Can brick slips be used externally?

Can you install brick slips over brick?
Yes, brick slips can be installed directly on top of brick or block using our adhesive. Before doing so though, we do advise that you check to make sure the wall is sound and without cracks or any loose debris.

10mm Brick Slip Spacers. These spacers allow you to get a professional finish on every brick slip you fit, ensuring a clean and accurate 10mm space is left between each side of every brick slip, making the pointing process a breeze!

According to the installation guides provided by various sources, the process of installing brick slips involves applying adhesive and mortar to the wall and the back of the brick slips, pressing the brick slips into place, and then using a pointing trowel to finish the mortar and clean up any excess before it dries.
